🚪🔐 MICU Main Office Entry Policy Update

Greetings Team,

 To ensure the safety and security of all staff, equipment, and confidential information within the main MICU office. This policy is being implemented as part of a new company-wide security protocol.

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and authorized visitors entering or exiting the main MICU office.

 

Effective June 18, 2025, all doors at the main MICU office will remain locked during business hours.

  • Entry and exit will require authorized badge access.

  • Employees must not prop open doors or allow tailgating (unauthorized individuals entering behind you).

  • Visitors must be signed in and escorted by a staff member at all times.

Procedure

  1. Access:

    • Use your MICU badge to enter through any designated access point.

    • If you forget your badge, contact your supervisor or HR for temporary access.

  2. Visitors:

    • Direct all visitors to the main entrance.

    • Notify the front desk or your manager in advance of any expected guests.

  3. Security Breach:

    • Report any suspicious activity or unauthorized persons to the MICU Security Team immediately.

Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination, depending on the severity of the breach.

These are properly locked doors, do not unlock.

If the doors are unlocked, notify HR/admin and make sure they are locked.


This is a view from the outside area, use your badge on the card reader (Black numberpad) to get back in to office area.


These are the locations of lock doors that will be enforced. These will be locked starting 6/30/2025.
