🚭 Smoking Rules & Compliance 吸菸規範

To ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment, all employees are required to follow the smoking and vaping policy below.

1. Regulatory Requirement (City of Phoenix)

Below is Article 36-601.01 for the City of Phoenix which applies to all our Warehouses and Offices.

36-601.01 - Smoke-free Arizona act

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all places of employment, including City buildings, City vehicles, work areas, auditoriums, employee lounges, restrooms, conference rooms, meeting rooms, classrooms, cafeterias, hallways, stairs, elevators, and private offices. In addition, a smoke-free zone of at least 20 feet must be maintained around all entrances, open windows, and ventilation systems of an enclosed building or facility

2. TSMC Facility / Construction Policy

In regard to TSMC Facility, Construction Policy is as follows;

Smoking and Tobacco - Smoking and use of tobacco products shall only be permitted in areas designated by TSMC and in compliance with legal obligations.

i. Smoking is not allowed in any powered work vehicle (PWV) while on-site.ii. Smoking is not allowed within 20 feet of all food trucks, generators and offices/traiiers.

3. General Requirements

• Smoking and vaping (e-cigarettes) are only allowed in designated smoking areas

• Smoking is not permitted near entrances, trailers, tents, or active work areas

• All employees, including supervisors and EHS personnel, are expected to follow and enforce these rules

4. Disciplinary Action

Failure to comply with this policy will result in corrective action. If an employee:

• Continues to violate the policy after multiple reminders, or

• Is reported and confirmed for non-compliance without improvement

Disciplinary action will be taken in accordance with company policy. All employees and contractors are expected to comply with this requirement without exception.

為確保所有倉庫、辦公室及施工現場符合工安與法規要求，請全體員工遵守以下吸菸與電子菸規定。

1. 法規依據（City of Phoenix）

依 Smoke-Free Arizona Act（City of Phoenix 36-601.01）規定：

• 所有工作場所全面禁止吸菸與電子菸（vaping）

• 禁止範圍包含：

  • 建築物內所有區域（辦公室、會議室、休息室、廁所、走廊等）

  • 工作區域（work areas）

  • 員工及公共使用空間

• 所有封閉建築或設施入口、窗戶及通風口周圍需維持 至少 20 feet（約 6 公尺）無菸區

2. TSMC Facility / Construction Site Policy

依現場施工與安全規範：

• 吸菸與使用任何菸草產品（含電子菸）僅限於指定吸菸區

• 嚴格禁止：

  • 在任何 Powered Work Vehicle (PWV) 內吸菸

  • 在 food trucks、generator、office/trailer 20 feet 範圍內吸菸

  • 在施工區、tent、或任何作業區附近吸菸或使用電子菸

3. 現場執行與行為要求

• 所有員工必須遵守指定吸菸區規定

• 不得於非指定區域（包含電子菸）進行任何吸菸行為

• 主管與安全人員需確保現場一致執行標準

4. 違規處理

若員工經多次規勸仍未改善，或經他人舉報確認違規且未改善，將依公司規範進行紀律處分。

請所有人員共同維持安全、合規與專業的工作環境。此政策適用於所有員工與承包商，無例外。
