ALL employees MUST clock in and out via Paychex timeclock machine (lunches included).
It has come to our attention that, in some cases, employee timecards may have been adjusted due to difficulties accessing Paychex for clocking in and out.
As MICU receives federal funding through TSMC, it is critical that all employees working at the TSMC fab maintain timecards that accurately reflect their actual working hours—especially for Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) employees. We are required to report DBA wages and hours to the LC tracker, and federal auditors may be assigned to review these records at any time.
Any intentional alteration of employee timecards may result in serious consequences, including loss of eligibility to employ DBA workers, loss of federal funding, and potential impact to current and future TSMC projects.
All supervisors are expected to strictly comply with this requirement. If employees encounter issues clocking in or out, they must be directed to the office to resolve the issue properly. Timecards should not be adjusted unless there is proper documentation and approval in accordance with the Attendance Policy.
This is a critical compliance matter and requires your full cooperation.
